Play Bracket 2 Commander at HobbyTown Lincoln on Wednesdays at 6pm! Leagues will run for 8 weeks at a time, with extra giveaways for players on week 8 who have played in at least 5 prior events.

Structure & Rules
Each week is 1 round – 90 minutes. 3 and 4 player pods. $5 Entry per week.
What is Bracket 2? -The Commander Bracket system is a way to determine power level of a deck. It is NOT foolproof – a crucial part of the bracket system is the intent to play at a certain level. Click here to see information about the Commander Bracket system.
Most preconstructed decks work well for a Bracket 2 event, so it’s great for beginners!
Bracket 2: Core
Players expect:
- Decks to be unoptimized and straightforward, with some cards chosen to maximize creativity and/or entertainment
- Win conditions to be incremental, telegraphed on the board, and disruptable
- Gameplay to be low pressure with an emphasis on social interaction
- Gameplay to be proactive and considerate, letting each deck showcase its plan
Generally, you should expect to be able to play at least eight turns before you win or lose.

- -NO Mass Land Denial. Here is a list of cards that count as MLD.
- -NO Chaining Extra Turns
- -NO 2-Card Infinite Combos

This event is intended to be CASUAL. Anyone found to be playing against the spirit of a casual, fun environment or playing a deck outside of the bracket guidelines may be removed from the event and prize points revoked.
Prizing
Players earn points each week for playing and for completing different achievements, and these cumulative points can be exchanged for store credit at HobbyTown Lincoln (100 points=$1).
Unclaimed achievements will add points to the extra prize pool for giveaways during week 8 for players who have played in at least 5 prior events!
End-of-round Procedure
If the 90-minute round ends with no winner, the active player will finish their turn, then each remaining player gets one more turn, then the game ends.
