Take your seat at your local game store from September 18-24! Choose one of three Shadow heroes and traverse the Gate to i’Arathael, grasping forbidden power and usurping your fellow players to claim the Shadow Throne!
Be warned! The gate is guarded by a terrifying demon – Baalghor, Omen of the End is a playable hero at Pre-Release only if you open him in your Pre-Release Kit!
Usurp the Shadow Throne Pre-Release uses Sealed Deck format, with 8 packs per player. Build a deck of exactly 30 cards, shuffle up, then claim ultimate power!
Everything you need to run a Pre-Release can be found in the Pre-Release Kit box! You can even take a few home with you and run your own tournament from the comfort of your kitchen table.
Pre-Releases are a special time when the community comes together to celebrate a new set release. Sit down with your mates, crack some packs, open breathtaking Cold Foils and Marvels, and take the new heroes for a spin. These events are perfect for players who are just starting out, with a friendly low-stakes environment, and awesome prizes to be won.
Each player receives a Pre-Release Kit box which includes:
- 8 Usurp the Shadow Throne booster packs
- 3 Cold Foil equipment cards
- 1 Rainbow Foil promo card
- Double-sided Basic cards
During Pre-Release events players are able to use all the cards from their Pre-Release Kit box in their games.
Event caps at 12 players. Players will play 3 30-minute Best-of-One rounds after deckbuilding, and everyone also gets a PreRelease promo pack in their kit!
